Job summary

AGL Energy Ltd. in Docklands, VIC, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Value Assurance to drive governance of project controls at the portfolio level and uplift the PMF across greenfield power development projects.

You will partner with Power Development, Finance and Strategy to ensure data quality, enable informed investment decisions and support continuous improvement of governance processes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Project Management, Economics or related discipline.
• Experience in project governance, assurance, project controls, portfolio management or capital-investment environments.
• Preferably 5+ years within energy, infrastructure, resources or other capital-intensive industries.
• Experience with stage-gate frameworks, business cases and investment governance.
• Ability to analyse complex information and translate it into clear, decision-ready insight.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation and senior-stakeholder communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis capability.

Responsibilities

• PMF governance: develop, implement and improve PMF across development phases.
• Monitor project-controls information quality and completeness in OnePlan.
• Translate project cost, schedule, risk and governance data into portfolio insights.
• Support leadership with concise, decision-ready reporting for governance forums.
