Job summary

Commonwealth Bank seeks a Senior Analyst, Home Buying Finance to deliver critical financial management reporting that informs business decisions. You will analyze the Home Lending product portfolio, support forecasts and budgets, and advise leadership on financial risks and opportunities.

Joining the Home Buying Finance team, you will work with senior Finance stakeholders to drive performance, ensure strong financial controls and contribute to continuous process improvements across the RBS

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial performance management including monthly management reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
• Proven ability to build relationships and partner with Finance and business stakeholders.
• Experience preparing executive reporting, leadership packs and financial insights to support decision-making.
• High level proficiency in financial modelling and trend analysis.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and provide strategic finance input.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to monthly performance reporting for designated product portfolios and reports.
• Support ongoing forecast and budget preparation for Home Loans portfolio with driver-based analysis and variance analysis.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and input for CFO, GM Finance and other leaders and for profit announcements.
• Assist with regular financial and business analysis of the product portfolio, including market dynamics insights.
• Provide financial input on assumptions for investments, product launches and major decisions.
