Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst in Home Buying Finance to provide crucial financial management reporting and analysis across the Home Lending portfolio. You will support forecasting, budgeting and ad hoc analyses for senior Finance stakeholders, helping drive informed business decisions and financial rigour.

You will collaborate with the Home Buying leadership and CFO, contributing to process improvements within the Retail Product Finance team and ensuring robust financial controls

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial performance management, including monthly management reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
• Proven ability to build relationships and partner effectively with Finance and business stakeholders.
• Experience preparing executive reporting, leadership packs and financial insights to support decision-making.
• High level proficiency in financial modelling, trend analysis and translating data into actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong critical thinking, and ability to manage multiple deliverables.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly performance reporting for designated product portfolios and continual improvement of reports.
• Support ongoing forecast and budget preparation for the Home Loans portfolio with driver-based and variance analysis.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and input for stakeholders, including the CFO and GM Finance.
• Provide insights on business drivers, market dynamics and competitive landscape where relevant.
• Provide financial input on investment initiatives, product launches and major business decisions.
• Contribute to process improvement, simplification and cross-skilling across the Retail Product Finance team.
