Job summary

Keypath Education in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Analyst, Forecasting & Commercial Modelling to own enrolment forecasting and commercial modelling across the APAC region. You will develop forecasting frameworks, scenario models and analyses to guide growth, pricing and workforce planning, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Product and Finance.

This is a high-visibility role with impact across executive teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible and strategically important role responsible for owning Keypath's enrolment forecasting, pacing and commercial modelling capability across the APAC region.

You'll lead the development of forecasting frameworks, scenario models and financial analyses that guide critical business decisions. From forecasting student demand and evaluating growth opportunities to modelling new products and investment scenarios, your work will directly influence how we plan, grow and invest.

Working closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, Workforce Planning and Data Engineering, you'll provide the insights and models that help shape Keypath's future growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead Enterprise Forecasting

• Own and maintain the APAC enrolment forecasting framework across university partners and study periods
• Develop, refine and continuously improve forecasting methodologies, assumptions and scenario models
• Deliver rolling forecasts, variance analysis and study-period performance reporting
• Prepare and present forecast reviews and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Drive the annual enrolment forecasting process to support budget and planning cycles

Drive Performance Through Pacing & Scenario Modelling

• Develop automated pacing tools that provide real-time visibility into enrolment performance
• Identify risks and opportunities early through scenario analysis and predictive modelling
• Evaluate the commercial impact of pricing changes, marketing initiatives, operational capacity and channel performance
• Translate enrolment trends into actionable workforce, operational and financial insights

Partner on Strategic Growth Initiatives

• Build commercial and financial models to support new programs, partnerships and market expansion opportunities
• Assess business cases, pricing strategies, investment decisions and ROI scenarios
• Support long-term strategic planning through robust growth and revenue modelling
• Turn emerging ideas into evidence-based recommendations and commercially viable solutions

Evaluate Product and Program Performance

• Monitor and analyse the performance of newly launched products and initiatives
• Lead post-implementation reviews to assess outcomes against forecasts, assumptions and commercial expectations
• Identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement

Influence Cross-Functional Decision Making

• Partner with Workforce Planning to ensure enrolment forecasts translate into effective staffing plans
• Align modelling assumptions and performance measures across Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance teams
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to drive automation, scalability and data quality improvements

Build Capability and Governance

• Enhance forecasting processes, automation and quality assurance frameworks
• Maintain forecasting standards, documentation and modelling best practices
• Coach business leaders on forecast interpretation, scenario planning and data-driven decision making
• Champion analytical rigour and continuous improvement across the organisation

About You

You combine exceptional analytical capability with strong commercial acumen and stakeholder influence. You enjoy solving complex business problems, challenging assumptions and helping leaders make informed decisions backed by data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications in Analytics, Finance, Econometrics or a related field are advantageous

Experience

You'll bring:

• 8+ years' experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, financial modelling or demand planning
• Proven success developing enterprise forecasting frameworks and scenario modelling approaches
• Deep experience in financial modelling, ROI analysis, pricing strategy and investment evaluation
• Strong experience building performance tracking, pacing or predictive analytics solutionsAbility to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Product and Finance
• Exposure to data engineering, automation initiatives and modern data platforms
• Education or EdTech experience is desirable but not essential

Technical Skills

• Advanced forecasting, statistical analysis and commercial modelling capability
• Expert-level Excel skills with strong financial modelling experience
• Advanced Power BI skills including dashboard development and executive reporting
• SQL proficiency and experience working with modern cloud-based data environments such as Microsoft Fabric
• Experience using Python and/or R will be highly regarded
• Strong presentation, storytelling and executive communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking and numerical reasoning
