Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking experienced Lead or Senior Analysts to contribute to financial stability. You will work with your manager to shape work programs, lead and collaborate on projects, and coach junior staff.

The role combines analysis of systemic risks with climate-related implications for stability and offers exposure to other parts of the Bank and regulators. You will develop leadership skills while gaining a deep understanding of how banks and financial institutions operate

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and data handling capabilities.
• Experience with financial stability or prudential regulation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and assessing systemic risks and vulnerabilities.
• Developing recommendations based on analysis related to resilience of financial institutions and crisis preparation.
• Preparing briefing materials and analyses for the Reserve Bank’s senior executives.
• Analyzing the links between different parts of the financial system.
