Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia in Sydney is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with Finance and technology stakeholders to deliver management reporting and process improvement initiatives. You will influence Finance processes and data capabilities within the One Finance program.

The role focuses on cost allocation enhancements, end-to-end P&L reporting, and forecasting uplift activities, with engagement across multiple projects and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex transformation, reporting or process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to translate concepts for business and technical audiences.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and traceability management.
• Familiarity with multiple project methodologies (waterfall, PMBOK, Prince2, Agile).

Responsibilities

• Lead the consultation, analysis, documentation and management of business requirements for Finance transformation initiatives.
• Support the delivery of management reporting improvements, including cost allocation and P&L reporting.
• Drive evolution of the Finance Data Repository (FDR) as part of One Finance.
• Facilitate workshops to understand needs and align future-state solutions.
• Translate complex requirements into clear specifications, process maps and user stories.
• Support solution evaluation, testing, and change activities to ensure value delivery.
