Job summary

ERM is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our national Air Quality team in Australia. The role involves delivering emission inventories, odour and air quality modelling, and leading client-focused permitting strategies.

You will write technical reports, plan projects, and mentor junior staff while expanding ERM’s presence in the regional air quality market. We require a BS/MS in engineering or environmental science and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Must have 8+ years of relevant experience in air quality/compliance consulting.
Proven ability to deliver emission inventories and air quality modelling assessments.
Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver emission estimation inventories, odour and air quality modelling assessments.
Write technical environmental reports, effective proposals, and tenders.
Plan projects with varying complexity and scale, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
Lead client-focused air permitting and compliance strategies for industrial facilities.
Develop and expand client relationships to support repeat business and growth.
