Job summary

GitLab in Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to act as a trusted advisor for prospects and customers across the ANZ region. You’ll guide AI‑powered DevSecOps transformations, evaluate technical requirements, and shape architectures throughout the software lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with Account Executives and cross‑functional teams to drive platform adoption, influence revenue, and create reusable technical collateral while maintaining a strong customer-centric

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with customers in technical pre‑sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Proficiency with end‑to‑end software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with GitLab or comparable source control and collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and deployment, security, and operations options.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to show how GitLab meets needs across the lifecycle.
• Own the technical evaluation process, including PoCs and value workshops.
• Collaborate with sales teams to shape account strategies and drive new customer acquisition.
• Build relationships with practitioners and leaders, guiding digital transformation and adoption.
• Advise on modern software development, CI/CD, and cloud practices to improve ROI.
• Voice of the customer with Product Management and Engineering to inform roadmap.
