Job summary

Firmus Technologies, a leader in sustainable AI infrastructure, seeks a Senior AI Security Engineer for AI Products & Applications. You will work with AI engineers, product managers, and DevOps to embed robust security controls across model-serving APIs, RAG workflows, and enterprise integrations.

You will implement threat modeling for LLM-enabled workflows, build reusable guardrails, and drive secure patterns in identity, authorization, and data handling while collaborating with Cybersecurity

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering, application security, cloud security, or related field.
• Experience embedding security into software engineering or product teams.
• Strong understanding of application and API security and secure SDLC practices.
• Practical knowledge of AI and LLM security risks, incl. prompt injection and data exposure.
• Experience securing agentic applications, RAG systems, and multi-tenant data flows.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar for automation and tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud security, logging, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, application, and engineering teams to design secure-by-design architectures for AI products.
• Threat-model LLM-enabled workflows and agentic processes for security gaps.
• Create secure patterns for identity, credentials, and tool allowlists; set approval gates.
• Secure RAG workflows and enterprise data ingestion with access controls.
• Define security controls for user-facing AI products including authentication and data handling.
• Secures model-serving APIs with tenant isolation and access policies.
• Build reusable guardrails, templates, and policy-as-code for developers.
• Collaborate with DevOps/Platform to ensure Kubernetes and CI/CD meet security posture.
