Job summary

Firmus Technologies is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to embed security across AI products and applications. You will collaborate with AI engineers, product managers, and DevOps to build secure, scalable AI infrastructure and defend against advanced threats.

Responsibilities include threat-modeling, secure pattern design, and vulnerability management for model-serving runtimes, with direct reporting to the Head of AI & Applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, cloud security, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience embedding security practices into software engineering or product-development teams.
• Strong understanding of application security, API security, and secure SDLC practices.
• Practical understanding of AI and LLM security risks including prompt injection and data leakage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, engineering, and platform teams to define secure-by-design architectures for AI-powered products and services.
• Threat-model LLM-enabled workflows and ensure secure identity, authorization, and access controls.
• Secure RAG, document ingestion, and enterprise-data workflows with appropriate data handling and retention controls.
• Lead vulnerability management for AI application dependencies, runtimes, and related infrastructure.
• Embed security requirements into design reviews, CI/CD controls, and incident response processes.
