Job summary

Vexev Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI and Robotics, to help build the next generation of autonomous robotic imaging in Australia. This hands-on senior role requires deep expertise in at least one domain such as ML, computer vision, or robotics.

You will design, implement, test, and ship software that operates in real clinical environments and collaborates with hardware, clinical, regulatory, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in at least one area (ML, CV, robotics, etc.).
• Ability to design, build, test, and ship production software for robotic imaging.
• Comfort working near technical detail and cross-functional teams.
• Strong engineering judgement and curiosity to learn across domains.

Responsibilities

• Build production software for robotic imaging systems.
• Design and improve systems connecting robotics, ultrasound, ML, cloud, and clinical use.
• Turn ambiguous problems into clear designs and robust releases.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, clinical, quality, regulatory, and operations teams.
• Debug complex issues across algorithms, robotics, data, infrastructure, workflows.
• Raise the technical bar through code quality, architecture, testing, and reviews.
