Job summary

Flybuys is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the AI Platform to architect and deliver secure automations across business units. You will work with business owners to map processes, determine deterministic steps or bounded AI, and connect systems to execute controlled actions.

Focus areas include document processing, classification, reconciliation and exception handling. You will independently deliver and operate complex workflows within established architecture and guardrails, mentor peers,

Qualifications

• Production software engineering experience across multi-system enterprise integrations.
• Proven ability to design and implement APIs, events and data handling flows.
• Hands-on experience with deterministic automation and/or bounded AI.
• Experience delivering with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong experience with Azure AI services and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate complex AI platform components and workflows within established architecture and guardrails.
• Collaborate with business owners to map processes, data, rules and exceptions.
• Deliver orchestration services, connectors and reusable components via APIs and events.
• Build resilient, stateful workflows with proper error handling and manual handoffs when needed.
• Review designs with architecture, security partners and leadership.
