Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a Senior to Principal AI/ML Engineer to drive design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions across ML, generative AI, and agent-based workflows. You will influence enterprise AI strategy, build scalable platforms, and lead a high-performing team to deliver innovative solutions at global scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering production-grade ML/AI systems with commercial impact.
• Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered apps in production.
• Strong hands-on in ML infrastructure and scalable AI architecture.
• Experience governing AI agent platforms and gateways.
• Familiar with MCP servers and agent communication protocols.
• Proficient in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native production environments.
• A degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions.
• Drive end-to-end MLOps capabilities including CI/CD and monitoring.
• Establish LLMOps standards for context engineering and safeguards.
• Architect AI agent workflows and secure scalable endpoints.

• Implement observability, reliability, and cost monitoring.
• Guide scalable ML infrastructure and data platforms (Databricks).
• Oversee Kubernetes-based deployments and cloud-native infra.
