Optus is seeking an AD, AI Engineering & Model Lifecycle to lead the engineering, operationalisation and lifecycle management of AI capabilities across Network Operations, ensuring models are trusted, reliable and scalable.

You will drive AI governance, security and cost-efficient automation, enabling progressive adoption of AI-assisted and autonomous operations with appropriate human oversight, explainability and risk controls.

Qualifikationen

• Leadership across telecommunications, AI/ML engineering, Network Operations.
• Enterprise-scale AI engineering, MLOps/ModelOps or production AI capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI/ML engineering, feature engineering, model deployment, registries, monitoring.

Aufgaben

• Own and evolve the Operational AI Engineering and Model Lifecycle strategy across Network Operations.
• Translate priorities into a portfolio of AI capabilities aligned to reliability and outcomes.
• Lead engineering and industrialisation of production-ready AI capabilities, including deployment patterns.
