MinterEllison is seeking an experienced AI engineer to build production AI systems in a complex, regulated environment. You will own agent orchestration, evaluation, deployment and interfaces used by legal experts to govern the systems.

You will work with partners and subject-matter experts, applying Bayesian methods, Python engineering and AWS deployment to deliver robust legal AI platforms.

Qualificações

• Production experience with LLM agent frameworks and tool-calling architectures.
• Rigorous evaluation discipline to assess model/system changes.
• Experience applying Bayesian inference or Bayesian networks to real-world domains.
• Strong Python software-engineering capability.
• Experience with React and TypeScript for expert-facing interfaces.
• Production AWS experience with security/identity in regulated data.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build multi-agent orchestration and Model Context Protocol servers for production legal workflows.
• Create deterministic evaluation harnesses and regression suites for measurable agent quality.
• Implement OpenTelemetry tracing for improved observability of agent runs.
• Model regulatory reasoning using Bayesian techniques.
• Develop expert-facing interfaces for legal specialists to inspect/edit rules.
• Deploy and operate secure, observable platforms on AWS.
• Collaborate with partners and experts to translate legal judgement into robust systems.
• Contribute to governance and assurance for AI used in regulated work.
