Job summary

DysrupIT Pty, Melbourne-based AI consultancy, is seeking a Senior AI Developer to architect agentic solutions on Microsoft Foundry and Dataverse. The role involves building governance, governance gates and reusable frameworks that integrate with Power Platform and Copilot Studio for enterprise clients across financial services, government and legal sectors.

Qualifications

6+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years building LLM-based applications.
Hands-on experience delivering solutions on Azure AI Foundry, including agents, model deployments, Azure AI Search and evaluation.
Strong Python and C#/.NET skills, with solid engineering habits such as testing, code review, Git and CI/CD.
Production experience with agentic patterns, including tool use, planning, memory, multi-agent orchestration and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Working knowledge of Azure services such as Functions, Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Entra ID and Application Insights.
Working knowledge of Dataverse (tables, security model, Web API) and how the Power Platform connects to external services.
Experience applying guardrails and evaluation to AI systems in production, not just prototyping them.
Clear communication with both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Design and build multi-agent systems on Foundry Agent Service using Microsoft Agent Framework (Python and .NET).
Build ingestion, indexing and retrieval pipeline on Azure AI Search with grounding and citations.
Package reusable skills and tools so new agents inherit capability rather than rebuild it.
Use Dataverse as the system of record and surface agents in Copilot Studio, Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Implement autonomy levels per step, human-in-the-loop approvals and audit logging.
Set up tracing, evaluators, regression datasets and red-team tests for production.
Design for private networking, content safety and data residency across agents.
