Job summary

RSL LifeCare in North Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Senior AI Developer to shape AI adoption across our Technology team. You will design AI-enabled applications and intelligent automations across our systems, leveraging Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform and Azure services to modernise processes that support veterans and seniors.

The role offers hands-on leadership, strong governance and security focus, with opportunities to mentor colleagues and deliver measurable business

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
Extensive software development and integration experience in enterprise environments.
Proven experience delivering AI-enabled business solutions with Copilot/Azure OpenAI.
Strong skills modernising LOB apps via AI, automation, integrations and digital innovation.
Experience developing custom applications, APIs and enterprise integrations.
Strong knowledge of Azure, Power Platform, .NET and modern development practices.
Ability translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Experience producing solution designs and architecture documentation.
Knowledge of security, privacy, governance and responsible AI principles.
Experience mentoring technical professionals while contributing to hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement AI-enabled applications and intelligent agents.
Identify opportunities to modernise business processes using AI, automation and integration.
Lead development across Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Azure Services and Power Platform.
Design and support enterprise integrations and connected technology solutions.
Provide technical leadership and solution architecture across the SDLC.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
Establish and promote software engineering standards and secure development practices.
Mentor technical team members to build organisational capability.
Ensure AI solutions align with governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI principles.
Evaluate emerging technologies to improve ops and employee experience.
