Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Australia seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Solutions Architect to join the ANZ team, ideally based in Sydney or Melbourne. You will work with Neo Clouds and customers on stand-up and operational excellence, handling large-scale AI workloads and HPC deployments.

The role focuses on building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms, automation tooling, and high-availability infrastructure while engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS/EE/Physics/Math or related field, with 5+ years in managing scalable cloud environments.
• Kubernetes for container orchestration and HPC integration.
• Networking fundamentals and data center HPC/AI cluster experience.
• Familiarity with HPC/AI GPUs and supporting software stacks.
• Linux OS, storage systems (Lustre, GPFS, ZFS, XFS) and networking protocols.
• Python and Bash scripting; IaC tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Observability stacks (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus) for monitoring and fault tolerance.
• Excellent customer engagement and solution architecture capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain large-scale AI infrastructure, focusing on monitoring, logging, and workload orchestration (Kubernetes and Linux job schedulers).
• Optimize production-grade Kubernetes-based platforms with enterprise networking and storage.
• Develop standard methodologies and operating guidelines to share with internal teams.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end across the stack from bare metal to software, container, networking, and storage.
• Support Enterprise, Research & Development activities and engage in POCs/POVs to validate new features and upgrades.
• Deploy monitoring solutions for servers, network and storage to meet performance requirements and SLAs.
• Develop tooling to automate deployment and management of large-scale infrastructure and enable self-service consumption of resources.
• Create and deliver high-quality documentation, runbooks, onboarding materials, and best-practice guides for customers and internal teams.
• Become the technical leader for assigned customer accounts, providing strategic guidance on DevOps and platform architecture.
