Job summary

Mercy Community Service is seeking an Executive, Aged Care Services to lead both residential and community aged care as an integrated portfolio in Queensland. The role focuses on clinical governance, quality, compliance with the Aged Care Act 2024 and the strengthened standards, and the financial sustainability of services.

Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation and salary packaging available; travel across Queensland is required.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in aged care or health services.
• Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, standards and funding.
• Proven ability to deliver financial and operational performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and boards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Aged Care Services operational plan aligned to strategy.
• Lead residential and home/community aged care as an integrated continuum.
• Identify growth opportunities including new services and partnerships.
• Oversee governance, quality, compliance, audits and reporting to the Board.
• Manage budgeting, pricing, funding models and government claiming.
