Job summary

Greatland is seeking a Senior Aerodrome Reporting Officer to lead the ongoing certification and safe operation of Telfer Aerodrome, ensuring compliance with CASR 139, MOS 139 and Greatland's aviation systems. You will provide leadership to the Aerodrome Operations team while supporting aviation safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Aerodrome Reporting Officer certification valid within last 5 years.
• Minimum 2 years' experience at a Senior Aerodrome Officer level.
• AROC certificate required.
• Dangerous Goods by Air awareness.
• Wildlife hazard management training.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Approved Trainer qualification.
• Ground Handling Agent training.
• C-Class manual driver’s licence.
• MOS 139 knowledge and practical application.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily aerodrome operations per regulatory and company requirements.
• Supervise Aerodrome Reporting Officers and related personnel.
• Deliver and coordinate training, verification and competency programs.
• Lead document reviews to maintain aerodrome certification and compliance.
• Participate in safety meetings and emergency planning exercises.
• Investigate incidents and hazards to promote safety culture.
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments and field activities.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships across site operations and external service providers.
• Support procurement activities and contractor management.
• Assist with regulatory audits and compliance assessments.
