Job summary

Sunshine Coast Waterways Authority in Maroochydore QLD is seeking a Senior Advisor (Stakeholder and Communications) to develop and implement stakeholder and communication strategies that align with the authority’s legislated purpose and public interest objectives.

You will collaborate with the Manager – Stakeholder Engagement and other stakeholders to deliver coordinated, timely engagement outcomes; note that staff must work in office for a minimum of 6 months during establishment.

• Role involves developing and implementing stakeholder and communication strategies aligned with SCWA’s purpose.
• Strategies must be inclusive, fit-for-purpose and aligned with IAP2 principles.

Senior Advisor (Stakeholder and Communications)

In the role of Senior Advisor (Stakeholder and Communications), you will support the development and implementation of stakeholder and communication strategies that align with SCWA’s legislated purpose, waterways management priorities and public interest objectives and that are inclusive, fit-for-purpose and aligned with IAP2 principles.

You will work closely with the Manager – Stakeholder Engagement and internal and external stakeholders to help deliver coordinated, timely and effective engagement and communication outcomes.

PLEASE NOTE IT IS A BUSINESS REQUIREMENT FOR THE STAFF TO BE WORKING IN OFFICE FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS WHILE THE SUNSHINE COAST WATERWAYS AUTHORITY IS ESTABLISHED.
