Job summary

VIDA Health in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Advisor, Design Logistics to provide specialist advice on health facility logistics, planning and design assurance.

You will evaluate how patients, staff, equipment, supplies, waste and services move through healthcare environments and work with health services, consultants and project teams to ensure operational requirements are reflected in planning and design.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in health facility logistics, operational planning, support services planning or health infrastructure.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into planning and design decisions.
• Knowledge of health facility planning principles, standards and contemporary practice.
• Strong stakeholder skills with the confidence to influence outcomes.
• Analytical and solutions-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on health facility logistics, operational flows and support services, including supply chains, equipment movement, storage, waste and services movement.
• Review health facility planning and designs to identify operational, functional and logistics risks and provide practical recommendations.
• Work with health services, project teams, consultants and stakeholders to reflect operational requirements in planning and design.
• Contribute to design guidance, tools and review processes that capture evidence and contemporary practice in health facility logistics.
