Job summary

VIDA Health in Melbourne's CBD leads the Digital Build program, shaping data analytics, reporting and BI capabilities to support evidence-based decisions across Victoria's health capital portfolio.

You will transform project, asset and spatial data into trusted insights, build data models and automated dashboards using Power BI and SQL, and partner with stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility and decision making.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in data analytics, data science, statistics, computer science, information systems, engineering, business analytics or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering data analytics, BI, or data management within complex project, infrastructure, construction or government environments.
• Expertise in Power BI and SQL with experience designing data models, automated solutions and impactful dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of analytics, reporting, and BI capabilities to support evidence-based decision making.
• Leverage project, asset, and spatial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and increase visibility of scope, cost, schedule, quality and delivery outcomes.

VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. The Opportunity

In this position, you will lead the development and delivery of data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities across VIDA Health’s Digital Build program. You will transform complex project, asset, and spatial data into meaningful insights, develop trusted data and reporting solutions, and work closely with key stakeholders to strengthen decision-making and drive continuous improvement across VIDA Health’s capital portfolio.

• Leading the development and continuous improvement of Digital Build’s analytics, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities to support evidence-based decision making.


• Leveraging project, asset, and spatial planning data to identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities, driving greater visibility of scope, cost, schedule, quality, and delivery outcomes.


• Building and optimising data models, pipelines, and automated reporting solutions that improve data quality, accessibility, and reliability.

• A tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.


• Proven experience delivering data analytics, business intelligence, performance reporting, or data management within complex project, infrastructure, construction or government environments.


• Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, SQL, and modern data platforms, designing data models, automated solutions, and impactful dashboards that turn complex data into meaningful insights.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable business insights.
