TORMAX Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract, with potential to extend to 18 months. Reporting to management, you will oversee day-to-day administration and coordination of national customer, supplier and subcontractor contracts.

This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across departments and locations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in contract management, commercial administration, procurement, operations or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, commercial terms and contractual obligations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong document management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to interpret contractual documentation and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple contracts, projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • A practical and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn and utilise business management systems quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer national customer, supplier and subcontractor contracts.
  • Review contracts, purchase agreements, service agreements and associated documentation.
  • Identify contractual risks, obligations, exclusions, commercial exposure and key milestones.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract registers and documentation.
  • Monitor contract expiry dates, renewals, variations, extensions and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate contract negotiations and variations with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure contractual requirements are communicated clearly to relevant departments and branches.
  • Monitor compliance with agreed commercial and contractual terms.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of tenders, proposals, agreements and supporting documentation.
  • Work closely with Finance and Accounts Receivable regarding payment terms, claims, variations, and contractual requirements.

Job description

TORMAX Australia is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Administrator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract, with the potential to extend to 18 months.

Reporting to the relevant management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and coordination of national customer, supplier and subcontractor contracts. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different departments and locations.

You will play an important role in ensuring contracts are accurately maintained, obligations and key dates are monitored, documentation is up to date, and contractual requirements are clearly communicated throughout the business.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Contracts Administrator, Senior Administrator, Commercial Administrator or similar professional looking to take ownership of a varied and nationally focused portfolio.

Key responsibilities
