Job summary

IBN Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a 12-month fixed term contract based in East Perth, WA. You will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy of reporting, and support the CFO with budgeting and statutory reporting while leading a high-performing finance team.

This role requires autonomy, robust technical accounting skills, and experience with Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Ability to work autonomously and with flexibility.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent technical accounting skills and knowledge of Australian standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Finance team members.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and oversee depreciation.
• Prepare BAS and FBT returns and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate month-end processes and reporting.
• Assist CFO with the annual budget and statutory financial statements.
• Assist with audit findings and resolving discrepancies.
• Serve as the contact for external auditors.
• Maintain financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Oversee investments of Trust Funds.
• Provide financial information to managers, CFO and CEO.
