Job summary

Dolphin Wellness Care in Sydney is seeking a qualified Accountant to own financial reporting, budgeting and compliance on a full-time basis (38 hours per week). You will prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and oversee NDIS and aged care revenue reconciliation to ensure tax and payroll compliance.

The role is professional accounting, not bookkeeping, with opportunities for CPD and exposure to senior management. A salary of AUD 104,000–115,000 plus super is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
• Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and tax legislation
• Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting and reconciliation
• Experience in NDIS, aged care, disability or community services sector

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts and analyse actuals against budget
• Reconcile NDIS revenue including claims, payments and plan-managed invoices
• Manage tax compliance including BAS/GST, PAYG, FBT and income tax
• Review payroll for compliance with relevant awards and STP
• Maintain internal controls and month-end/year-end close
• Provide financial analysis to support pricing, cost control and business decisions
