Job summary

Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club in Queensland is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead month-end, deliver accurate financial reporting and oversee AP/AR with operations alignment. Candidates should bring 3+ years in similar roles, tertiary accounting qualifications and CA/CPA status or progress, plus strong Excel

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a financial accounting role.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• CA or CPA qualification, or working towards completion.
• Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and reconciliations.
• Excellent Excel and financial systems capability.
• Attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end process, including journals and reconciliations.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and commentary.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Develop and improve reporting processes and internal controls.
• Assist with statutory compliance and audited statements.
• Collaborate with operations to align finances with daily activities.
• Support strategic finance projects and ad-hoc analysis.
