Job summary

Lead Group in Perth is seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of a quality client portfolio within Business Services, Tax and Advisory, and to progress along a clear managerial pathway. The role offers hybrid working with exposure to SME and privately owned clients.

You’ll collaborate with Managers and Partners, develop advisory skills, and guide junior staff while expanding your client relationships and technical accounting capabilities towards Manager level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' Australian public practice experience.
• Strong Business Services and Tax experience.
• Experience managing or working across a client portfolio.
• CA/CPA qualified or currently progressing.
• Strong technical accounting and taxation skills.
• Confident communication and client relationship skills.
• Ambition to progress towards Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns.
• BAS and IAS preparation.
• Tax planning and advisory.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships.
• Act as a key contact across your portfolio.
• Work with Managers and Partners on complex matters.
• Review junior work and support their development.
• Identify opportunities to provide broader accounting and advisory solutions.
• Take on increasing responsibility as you progress towards Manager.
