Niche Talent in Perth is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Business Services team. You will collaborate with Managers and Partners, lead a diverse SME/private client portfolio, and drive advisory and tax planning work in a hybrid Perth setting.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in Australian Public Practice, CA/CPA qualification, and strong leadership to mentor junior staff while growing client relationships and ownership of engagements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years Australian Public Practice experience.
• CA or CPA qualification, or nearing completion.
• Strong Business Services and Tax experience.
• Confident dealing directly with clients.
• Some mentoring or reviewing junior staff is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns.
• Managing relationships with SME and private clients.
• Assisting with tax planning, structuring and advisory work.
• Reviewing work completed by junior accountants.
• Mentoring and supporting development of junior team members.
• Managing workflow, deadlines and WIP across clients.
• Working with senior staff and Partners on complex matters.
