Job summary

The role focuses on financial reporting, accounting systems, compliance, internal controls, taxation and financial accounting to support our operations and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting systems, internal controls and taxation requirements.
• Experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including explaining financial information to management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and other financial information for presentation to the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports through the Government Provider Management System.
• Manage financial and compliance reporting for Support at Home programs and grants; reconcile Medicare-like claims and related records.
• Examine income, expenditure and government grant data for accurate reporting and compliance.
• Analyze financial information and risks; provide reports and advice to management.
