Findex Geelong is seeking a Senior Accountant to advance into a leadership role within the Business Advisory team. You will mentor junior staff, take ownership of client relationships, and deliver complex business advice and reports for a diverse client portfolio.

Ideal candidates have CA/CPA progress, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with tax and cloud accounting platforms like Xero, MYOB and Excel. A clear path to management awaits.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Business Advisory within public practice.
• Fringe Benefits Tax and Deferred Tax experience highly regarded.
• Strong analytical skills and the confidence to advise clients directly on complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on preparing business advice and producing complex reports for clients.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for various entity types.
• Proactively guide clients on compliance obligations, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Mentor junior team members and support business development with clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships with increasing autonomy in management.
