Careerwebsite in Adelaide invites applications for a Senior Accountant at a dynamic 5 partner chartered firm. You will manage a portfolio across industries, providing proactive accounting and taxation advice and contributing to high-quality advisory work.

Reporting to senior leaders, you will mentor graduates, review junior work, assist with tax planning and business advisory engagements, and work with Partners on complex client matters. This role offers growth and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification (or near completion).
• 4+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards.
• Experience managing client relationships independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• The ability to review work and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a broad range of entities
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members
• Assisting with tax planning and business advisory engagements
• Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes
• Supporting and mentoring graduate and intermediate accountants
• Working closely with Partners on complex client matters
