Job summary

NACBA, an Adelaide-based 5-partner chartered firm, seeks a Senior Accountant to join high-end advisory, taxation and compliance services for a diverse client base.

Reporting to senior leaders, you will manage a portfolio, provide proactive accounting and taxation guidance, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with Partners on complex matters.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion).
• 4+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards.
• Experience managing client relationships independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to review work and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a broad range of entities.
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members.
• Assisting with tax planning and business advisory engagements.
• Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes.
• Supporting and mentoring graduate and intermediate accountants.
• Working closely with Partners on complex client matters.

Your new role
