Job summary
Findex is seeking a Senior Accountant based in Sydney to work across diverse client portfolios. You’ll deepen technical and advisory skills while mentoring junior staff and completing CA/ CPA studies with strong support.
You will prepare tax compliance, financial statements, and reconciliations, and contribute to commercial advisory projects alongside experienced Partners. A pathway to CA/CPA qualification is offered.
Qualifications
- Public practice experience with a developing ability to lead and support others.
- Achieved, working towards, or interested in completing CA or CPA qualification.
- Strong commercial acumen with sound technical accounting and analytical skills.
- Strong cloud accounting product knowledge (e.g. Xero, MYOB, Excel).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax compliance work including BAS, financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for entities.
- Contribute to strategic business advice and commercial advisory projects with Partners.
- Collaborate with Managers and Partners to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Help clients optimise cloud accounting tools for their business needs.
