Job summary

Findex is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Business Advisory team in Adelaide. You will deliver high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base and assist with tax returns, financial statements, and statutory filings.

You’ll work on a dynamic portfolio, grow professionally, and benefit from CA/CPA study support, including fees covered and study leave, plus access to Findex Group products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in public practice.
• CA or CPA qualified, or working towards it (preferred but not essential).
• Curious, analytical mindset with a drive to understand clients’ businesses.
• Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, or other cloud tools.
• Enthusiastic team player who actively contributes to success.
• Sharp attention to detail and excellent prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality and efficient accounting services across a diverse client base.
• Assist in preparing business advice, tax returns, business activity statements and financial statements for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals.
• Complete jobs efficiently while meeting technical standards, deadlines, and budgets.
• Assist with general bookkeeping duties.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge.
