Role Description

IGnite is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position located in Manly, NSW. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing compliance reporting, overseeing tax planning and preparation, and performing payroll and bookkeeping duties. The role also involves providing financial analysis, offering strategic advice to clients, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, while delivering exceptional service, will also be a critical part of this position.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience with financial analysis and strategic advisory for complex business groups
• Strong technical accounting and tax preparation skills, including financial reporting and compliance
• Proficiency in payroll management, bookkeeping, and use of accounting software
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA qualification highly desirable
• Familiarity with small business financial operations and a client-focused mindset
• Experience managing staff and offshore resources.
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role preferred
• At least 5 years experience in Australia
• Must have permanent work rights in Australia
