  • Support payroll operations across six countries (Australia, USA, France, UK, Ireland, India), working with external payroll vendors to keep pay accurate, on time and compliant.
  • Review payroll reports and reconcile payroll to the general ledger each month.
  • Prepare and lodge monthly and annual payroll tax reconciliations including Australian payroll tax, STP and Payday Super requirements. Full training is provided on our payroll processes.
Tax, Audit & Governance
  • Work with external advisers to ensure adherence to local compliance and regulations including the filing of financial statements and tax returns for subsidiaries within the global Group..
  • Support internal and external audits and continuously strengthening our controls and governance framework.
  • Develop, implement and maintain financial policies and procedures that improve controls and streamline processes.
  • Identify opportunities to use automation and AI tools to streamline finance processes.

Essential
  • CA or CPA qualified, or well progressed towards qualification, with 3+ years' experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant or similar, with hands-on month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Hands-on Xero experience, ideally across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse data and make sound decisions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work with colleagues and advisers across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong ownership: you work autonomously, meet tight deadlines and raise issues early.
  • Full right to work in Australia.
Preferred
  • Payroll experience, ideally across more than one country or with external payroll providers.
  • Experience with Mayday.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • A mindset to embrace AI and automation, using new tools to work smarter and improve finance processes.
