Job summary

Fuse Recruitment in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join a high-performing insurance broking team. You’ll manage a portfolio of about AUD 600k–700k and build strong client relationships while supporting junior team members and contributing to growth.

You will renew business, handle endorsements, tailor commercial solutions (including construction risks), and mentor a three-person team across a broader AUD 1.3m book.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Account Executive or Senior Broker.
• Strong commercial insurance broking experience.
• Experience managing a substantial portfolio (roughly AUD 600k+).
• Exposure to construction insurance policies is highly desirable.
• Strong technical broking, client relationship and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of approximately AUD 600k–700k.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients.
• Handle renewals, new business, endorsements and day-to-day client requirements.
• Develop tailored insurance solutions across a range of commercial risks, including construction.
• Lead, support and mentor a team of three across a broader AUD 1.3m book.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts while maintaining retention and compliance.
