Job summary

Anglicare WA is seeking an Aboriginal Futures Lead for Flourish, a multi-year initiative addressing entrenched disadvantage in WA communities. This permanent part-time role (0.8 FTE, 30 hours/week) is based in East Perth, with flexible work options including from home, and requires Aboriginal descent under the Equal Opportunity Act.

Lead governance, culture and two-way practice across the project. The successful candidate will guide model development, support teams, and champion Indigenous IP

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Aboriginal cultural protocols and ways of knowing, being and doing.
• Knowledge of cultural governance, cultural safety, and trauma-informed practice.
• Experience in Aboriginal-led design and capacity building.
• Significant experience providing strategic leadership and influencing change across organisations.
• Experience building relationships with Aboriginal communities, ACCOs and external stakeholders.
• Strong research, analysis, evaluation and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide development and refinement of the Flourish program model.
• Provide cultural and practice leadership to project teams.
• Champion ICIP and Aboriginal Data Sovereignty principles.
• Collaborate with communities, ACCOs, researchers and stakeholders.
• Support learning, evaluation and continuous improvement across the project.
