NSW Health in Broken Hill is seeking a Health Manager Level 2 to lead therapeutic and casework services for adults and children who have been sexually assaulted, and their non-offending family members, within a multidisciplinary team.

The role supports cultural competence and trauma‑informed care, partners with the local sexual assault service, and sits within the Far West Local Health District, offering a supportive country lifestyle and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and female.
• Experience in trauma‑informed care or related settings is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide therapeutic and casework services to adults and children who have been sexually assaulted, and their non‑offending family members.
• Work within a multidisciplinary health care team to meet patients' health and wellbeing needs.
• Partner with the local sexual assault service to enhance culturally sensitive communication with Aboriginal people.
• Contribute to culturally competent practice and trauma‑informed care within Violence Abuse and Neglect.
