Job summary

Far West Local Health District in Broken Hill is seeking a Health Manager Level 2 to lead trauma-informed therapeutic and casework services for adults and children who have experienced sexual assault. You will work within a multidisciplinary team and partner with the local sexual assault service to deliver culturally safe care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant counselling degree is required or acceptable via ECAV pathway.
• Demonstrated cultural expertise and ability to work with Aboriginal communities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic and casework services to adults and children who have experienced sexual assault.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet health and wellbeing needs.
• Partner with the local sexual assault service to enhance culturally sensitive communication.
