Job summary

Optus Enterprise seeks a Voice and Data Core Senior Technical Specialist to ensure performance, availability, and reliability of critical network services. Based in Macquarie Park, Sydney, this 24/7 role supports Tier 2 Network Operations, handling incidents, changes, and vendor collaboration.

You will lead escalations, mentor engineers, drive problem management, and contribute to new capabilities while upholding operational readiness and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with mobile packet/core networks (4G/5G) and signaling standards.
• Proven ability to manage vendors and govern telecom projects.
• Strong communication and leadership in high-pressure incidents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults impacting core network services across Voice and Data Core platforms.
• Lead escalations during major incidents and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Conduct root cause investigations and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Support EPC, 5G Core, IMS, and Subscriber Data Management platforms.
• Mentor and coach team members to promote technical excellence.
