Job summary

Glitch Productions is an independent animation and games studio based in Melbourne. We are building a game in Unreal Engine 5 with a distinct art style, and a small, fast-moving team.

We need a senior 3D artist who can push assets from blockout to in-engine polish and help shape the look across characters, props and environments. You will own asset creation end‑to‑end, match the established art style, and work closely with the art director.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years making 3D art for games with at least one shipped title.
• Portfolio of stylised work including characters, props and environments.
• Proven ability to match an established art style.
• Hands‑on experience getting assets working in Unreal Engine 5.
• Strong Blender or Maya skills, clean topology, efficient UVs and stylised texturing.
• Comfort working independently and clear written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Model, UV and texture stylised characters, props and environment pieces from concept to final asset.
• Get assets into UE5: import, set up materials, LODs and collision, and run in context.
• Block out spaces and minigame layouts with design, then take them to final art.
• Keep assets within PC and console performance budgets, and fix build issues.
• Flag issues early and suggest better ways to do things in the art pipeline.
• Give feedback to and support other artists on the team.
