Job summary

TOM People has a new opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager on a 6-month contract with strong extension potential. This hands‑on 2nd Line Compliance role provides practical compliance advice across a banking organisation and supports uplift of the compliance framework.

You will advise on regulatory obligations, assist in risk management, and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver value in a contract environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a 2nd Line Compliance / Compliance Advisory role.
• Strong experience within banking or financial services.
• Solid understanding of regulatory obligations and compliance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously and add value in a contract environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused 2nd Line compliance advice to business stakeholders.
• Support identification, assessment and management of compliance risks.
• Advise on regulatory obligations and their application across the business.
• Support compliance monitoring, reporting and risk management activities.
• Contribute to compliance framework and process uplift initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
