Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Melbourne's Water Infrastructure team. You will partner with clients and specialists to deliver innovative solutions across Victoria’s water sector, spending time in client and project offices to support successful delivery.

You’ll oversee complex projects, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes with a focus on safety, quality and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in project management.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Experience in water infrastructure projects highly regarded.
• Proven stakeholder management across complex environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects and programs, ensuring client expectations, timelines, budgets and quality are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Water Authorities, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects across the lifecycle including design management, tendering and contract administration.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Manage change, quality, health, safety and risk elements across project delivery.
• Work closely with clients through regular attendance at client and project offices.
