ACCIONA Australia is seeking a Senior 12D Design Engineer with strong road alignment experience to join our team in Western Australia. You will deliver high-quality civil designs using 12D Model and AutoCAD, collaborating with engineers and designers across earthworks, drainage, and water infrastructure.

The role emphasises practical design solutions, adherence to standards, and effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
Strong proficiency in 12D Model with macro programming and snippet creation.
Proven experience delivering 12D civil designs, particularly road alignment.
Solid understanding of road design principles and alignment methodologies.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with OpenRoads considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Produce design models and documentation using the latest versions of 12D Model and AutoCAD.
Develop innovative and efficient design modelling solutions, keeping pace with emerging industry technologies.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, cost‑effective engineering outcomes.
Collaborate with other designers to develop, maintain, and improve design and modelling standards.
Identify and forecast risks, opportunities, and scope variances within assigned works.
Prepare design inputs for estimating activities, including quantities and take‑offs as required.
