Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking passionate SEN Tutors for both in-person and online tutoring in Australia. You will design and deliver tailored lessons for students with diverse learning needs, focusing on Dyslexia, ADHD, and autism, while fostering confidence and autonomy.

You will adapt activities to each learner, monitor progress, and report outcomes monthly, with a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adapt lessons to different learning styles.

Responsibilities

  • Plan lessons and resources around each student's needs, including core subjects or life skills.
  • Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions.
  • Apply skills to raise pupils' confidence and independence.
  • Manage children with challenging behaviour.
  • Track learning progress and provide monthly reports.

Seeking Passionate and Skilled SEN Tutors!

We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutors to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students. If you're passionate about helping children with unique learning needs and thrive in a personalised teaching environment, we want to hear from you!

Ideal Candidates:
  • Have experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
  • Qualified in education or relevant SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE/SEN qualifications)
This tutor role involves:
  • planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills;
  • plan and deliver engaging sessions.
  • apply skills to raise pupils' confidence.
  • manage children with challenging behaviour.
  • track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports.
  • potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student,
  • learn about visuals to communicate in some cases.
