Job summary

Castle Education is recruiting High Needs Support Assistants for a range of schools and specialist provisions. This role supports children and young people with high and additional needs, building confidence, independence and access to education.

You may provide 1:1 support, work with small groups, support pupils in a classroom, help with behaviour and emotions, communication and learning, independence and life skills, and engagement with school.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEN, SEND, complex needs, autism, SEMH or behavioural support is highly desirable.

Castle Education are recruiting High Needs Support Assistants for a range of schools and specialist provisions.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and helping young people develop their confidence, independence and ability to access education.
What could your day look like?
Depending on the setting, you may:

• Provide 1:1 support
• Work with small groups
• Support pupils within a classroom
• Help pupils manage behaviour and emotions
• Support communication and learning
• Encourage independence and life skills
• Help pupils engage positively with school

The Benefits£14.24–£16.00 per hour depending on experience and setting.
