Job summary

Xero's G&A Data & Analytics team empowers Finance, HR, Legal and Workplace by enabling self-service data access and trusted analytics. As Enablement Lead, you will define guardrails, data sources, dashboards and metric definitions, building repeatable patterns for how teams find, understand and act on data.

You will partner with senior leaders to embed data into planning cycles and decision forums, lifting data literacy and responsible use across the function while shaping platform capabilities

Qualifications

• Track record of designing and running enablement or change programmes that measurably shifted how business teams use data.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority across Finance, People or other corporate functions.
• Experience with modern analytics stacks, including SQL, cloud data warehouses, dbt, and BI platforms such as Tableau.
• Translating complex data concepts into clear, practical guidance for different audiences is a strength you enjoy using.
• Defining and tracking adoption, usage and outcome metrics is familiar and you use insights to iterate.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the G&A data enablement roadmap, including approved data sources, dashboards, metric definitions and naming conventions.
• Define guardrails that make self-service safe and practical patterns for day-to-day use.
• Mentor analysts and business users, lifting capability across the community.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across Finance and HR to embed data into planning cycles and decision forums.
• Partner with central Data, BI and Governance teams on platform capability and semantic layer design.
