Job summary

Avant is seeking an experienced Security Solution Architect to join our Architecture team in shaping a secure, future-ready cyber security landscape. You will translate enterprise security strategy into practical architectures, standards and roadmaps, guiding business transformation and threat defence decisions.

In this role you will lead risk assessments, threat modelling, and architecture reviews, collaborating with Security Engineering and Cyber Defence teams to implement robust controls

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Security Architect or Security Solution Architect in complex enterprises.
• Strong expertise across multiple security domains including Cloud, IAM, Zero Trust, Network, Application, Infrastructure, SIEM and monitoring.
• Deep knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365 Security, data protection and modern cyber security frameworks.
• Proven experience conducting threat modelling, security risk assessments and architecture reviews.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts into business-focused recommendations for stakeholders.
• Experience developing target-state architectures, capability roadmaps, standards and reusable security patterns.
• Exposure to APRA-regulated, financial services or insurance environments is highly regarded.

• Contribute to architecture governance and decision-making for complex security initiatives.

Reporting to the Enterprise Security Architect, you'll be responsible for translating enterprise security strategy into practical, implementable architectures, standards and roadmaps that strengthen our security posture and enable business transformation.

Key accountabilities:

Skills and experience required:
